The B57 was a multipurpose nuclear weapon that could be used as either a gravity bomb for land-attack missions or as a depth charge for anti-submarine warfare. It was also known by its nickname, the "Dr. Pepper." A lightweight multipurpose weapon designed for low-yield and low-drag, the B57 had a slightly rounded, streamlined nose and a conical tail unit.
