Before being withdrawn from service, the U.S. Air Force AGM-69 short-range attack missile (SRAM) was a guided nuclear weapon launched from strategic bombers against air defense systems during a bomber's final run-in to its target. It was inertially guided and had a very small radar cross-section. It was also known as SRAM-A to distinguish it from the later AGM-131 SRAM-B.
