The DM2A4 is a fiber-optic wire-guided torpedo designed with cost-effectiveness in mind. A modular battery concept allows users to configure the weapon with two, three or four identical sub-batteries. To secure optimum propulsion performance, it is necessary only to exchange propellers and sub-batteries. The torpedo is the latest variant of the SST 4 Seeal family that has undergone multiple generations of upgrades.
