The Griffin 3 is a laser-guided bomb kit that can be fitted to a variety of iron bombs.
The kit provides a precise 7 mi (12 km) standoff range against a range of ground targets, including bunkers, entrenched tanks and other hardened targets. This enables aircraft to attack highly defended targets, while reducing risk to aircraft and aircrews, according to the Israeli manufacturer.
