The Egyptian Sakr-Eye (or Ayn as Saqr, meaning Falcon's-eye) man-portable anti-aircraft missile was derived from the Soviet SA-7 Grail surface-to-air missile (SAM) through reverse-engineering.
The weapon consists of the missile in a disposable, fiberglass launcher and a firing handle that contains the electronic circuitry and sights.
