The SS-N-23 Skiff (Russian: R-29RM Shetal/RSM-54/3M27) is a submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) developed for Russia's DELTA IV-class submarines. This liquid-propellant, three-stage missile is believed to have more accuracy and throw-weight than the SS-N-18. The DELTA IV class can carry up to 16 SLBMs.
The first stage is equipped with RD-0243/0244/0245 motors. All three stages use UDMH and nitrogen tetroxide propellants.
