M51 SLBM

The M51 replaced France's M45 submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBM) and equips its four LE TRIOMPHANT-class submarines.

The M51 provides greater range, accuracy, survivability and operational flexibility than the M45. It has greater volume and weight for warheads and penetration aids.
