The Agni VI is a long-range nuclear-capable ballistic missile that is being developed by India's Defense Research Development Organization (DRDO). The weapon will be equipped with multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicles (MIRVs).
Plans call for the three-stage missile (some sources say it will have four stages) to have a range of 5,000 mi to 6,000 mi (8,000 km to 10,000 km). The Agni VI is expected to be adapted for ground and submarine launch platforms.
