The 130-mm M51 is a 32-round MRL system that uses spin-stabilized rockets. The launching unit is mounted at the rear of a Praga V3S 6 x 6 truck and has a stabilizing jack on either side.
Because the cab is unarmored, the launcher must be traversed left or right before the rockets are fired. Replacement rockets are carried in stowage boxes on either side of the hull below the launcher.
