130-mm Kooryong

Country of Origin: South Korea

The 130-mm Kooryong multiple rocket launcher (MRL) is a 36-round system that uses a single shot or rippling firing mode. The Kooryong has a solid-state fire-control system; a hydraulic motor drives the launcher.

Reloading takes 10 minutes and is typically conducted away from the firing position in order to avoid counter-battery fire.

The system is fitted on the rear of a 5-ton 6 x 6 truck, but can be fitted to any track or wheeled vehicle having a 5-ton capacity.
