The Kung Feng 126-mm multiple rocket launcher (MRL) system consists of a 40-tube rocket launcher that is vehicle-mounted or towed.
The tubes are arranged in two sets of 20; there are five rows of four. All 40 rockets can be rippled launched in 16 seconds.
The basic Kung Feng IV is mounted on a U.S. M113 armored personnel carrier (APC). The Kung Feng IV has hydraulic elevation and depression, but the launcher is traversed by moving the entire vehicle.
