The Laser Homing Attack Missile (LAHAT) is a lightweight weapon designed to be fired from a range of platforms, including armored vehicles, tanks and helicopters. It is optimized for urban operations, where it can hit static and moving targets, while avoiding hostile air defenses. It also permits tanks to defend themselves from enemy attack helicopters.
