The HN-1 (Hong Niao,"Red Bird") is a Chinese cruise missile that is believe to have entered service in the early 1990s; is was apparently derived from a short-range version of the Russian AS-15 Kent (see separate record).
Although confirmed information on the HN-1 is sparse, the missile has straight folding wings at mid-body and a folding tail plane rear assembly. The engine is said to be mounted to the rear with an air inlet under the fuselage.
