The B-611 is a road-mobile, short-range ballistic missile. It was designed to provide a cheap, accurate weapon capable of maneuvering during flight at a low trajectory to make defense more difficult.
The Chinese missile is thought to have two pop-out wings and four fixed tail fins. The wings enable the missile to stay at low altitude during flight, reportedly about 22 mi (35 km), and maneuver to avoid interceptors.
