Lance was U.S.-built short-range dual-capable (i.e., nuclear or conventional warhead) tactical missile system once deployed at the corps level by the U.S. Army.

The missile has a conical nose, cylindrical body narrowing at the nozzle and four delta-shaped fins with trailing edges twisted to impart spin.
