The K-15 Sagarika (Oceanic) is a submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM). The weapon is an offshoot of India's Defense Research and Development Organization's (DRDO) integrated guided missile development program (IGMDP) implemented in 1983.
The Prithvi I served as the original basis for the Sagarika. Its land-based equivalent is the Shaurya, although the two are frequently described as variants of a common missile design (see separate record).
