The Hatf-4 ("Deadly") short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) is a further development of the Hatf-1 and Hatf-2 SRBMs. It is also known as the Shaheen-1 or Eagle.
A single-stage solid-fuel missile, the Hatf-4 was likely developed with Chinese technical assistance. The missile is believed to be reverse-engineered from the Chinese M-9 or M-11. China might have transferred a production line for M-9s to the Fatehjung missile facility built for Pakistan in the mid-1990s to further assist...
