Country of Origin: Russia
Table of contents
description
The FROG (free rocket over ground) series of mobile, short-range artillery rockets were nuclear-capable battlefield support weapons. FROG-3 was the most widely used of the first five variants. North Korea manufactured its own chemical warheads for the FROG. The early series of FROG rockets are now considered obsolete.
The missile is a long, two-part cylinder with four small, cruciform, fins at the tail. The warhead section has larger diameter than the rocket.
