The British Vigilant anti-tank missile was deployed for more than two decades in man-portable and vehicle-mounted versions.
The portable version consists of a missile in its container and the separated sight, controller and battery pack. Vehicle-mounted Vigilants usually had a small turret mounting two launchers and a controller. The operator could steer the missile from within the vehicle.
The missile has bottle-nose cylinder configuration with cruciform folding tail fins.
