The Selectable Lightweight Attack Munition (SLAM) is a handheld shaped-charged explosive for use against lightly armored vehicles, parked aircraft and ammunition or petroleum storage sites. It is primarily used by special operations forces. Light combat engineer and Ranger units also employ the device.
