The BDM60 urban assault weapon (UAW) was a lightweight shoulder-fired system for use against bunkers, buildings and light armored vehicles.
Designed as a weapon for use in military operations in urban terrain (MOUT), the BDM60 had fire-from-enclosure (FFE) capability -- meaning that the weapon's backblast did not require it to be used outdoors or in large interior spaces to vent the launch exhaust.
