A further development of the SS-N-15 Starfish anti-submarine missile, the SS-N-16 Stallion submarine-launched missile substitutes an anti-submarine homing torpedo for the SS-N-15's nuclear warhead. The NATO designation covers what are technically two separate Soviet missile-torpedoes: the RPK-6 Vodopod (waterfall) and the RPK-7 Veter (wind).
