CY-1 anti-submarine rocket

The CY-1 (Chang Ying-1) is a first-generation Chinese rocket-assisted torpedo, similar in concept to the U.S. ASROC (see separate database entry). Launched from a multi-celled mount in surface warships, the CY-1 follows a ballistic trajectory to the vicinity of the target.
