The Russian Kh-41 ASM-MSS is a high-speed air-to-surface (ASM) anti-ship missile probably derived from the shipboard SS-N-22 Sunburn, though it may also be adapted in part from the Kh-31S.
In the tradition of the AS-4 Kitchen and AS-6 Kingfish, this weapon is quite large and has a long range. It is specifically intended for use with the Su-33 Flanker D carrier-borne fighter.
