The AS-5 Kelt was a second-generation anti-ship missile that generally resembled the missile it replaced, the AS-1 Kennel. It also had an anti-radar and land attack capability.
The missile had a portly airframe with a rounded nose and thickened keel, swept wings with stall fences on the top surface and a swept tail group with an aerial at the top.
