The ABM-4 Gorgon is the replacement for the ABM-1 Galosh in the Moscow ABM system. It is a silo-based, high-altitude exo-atmospheric ballistic missile interceptor.
In addition to its ABM capability, the ABM-4 Gorgon is probably capable of intercepting very low altitude satellites as they pass over the Moscow region if guided by the Pill Box phased-array radar at Pushkino.
