The South African V3 Kukri was a short-range, highly maneuverable air-to-air (AAM) missile with an infrared (IR) seeker.
The missile had an unusual asymmetrical design. The Kukri was a thin cylinder with a rounded nose, asymmetrical forward control surfaces with one plane having two movable delta canards; the other plane has two forward-fixed delta canards and two rear double-delta movable canards and rear cruciform fins that rotated freely.
