Umkhonto-IR

The Umkhonto-IR (the Zulu word for spear) surface-to-air missile is a vertically launched, high-velocity, infrared-homing missile designed to provide all-around defense against simultaneous air attacks from multiple combat aircraft (fixed-wing or helicopter) and missiles at ranges up to 7 mi (12 km).
