The SM-6 Extended-Range Active Missile (ERAM) is an anti-aircraft missile developed for the U.S. Navy. Initially, the missile was to provide defensive capabilities against fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and land attack anti-ship cruise missiles in flight, both over sea and land.
