The Type 84 is a series of Chinese scatterable anti-vehicle mines deployed by a 122-mm rocket.
The mine features a cylindrical steel body that tapers toward the base with a three-prong spike at the bottom. The prongs are freed when the mine is released from the rocket. The base of the mine contains the battery, electronic circuit, arming mechanism and detonator.
