This is a high-explosive, bounding and fragmenting anti-personnel land mine. The mine is olive drab and is believed to have black markings. Other painting and markings on the fuzes and the electric igniter are unknown.

The PSM-1 originated in Bulgaria and was used in several former European communist-bloc countries.
