Daksh

The Daksh is the first unmanned ground vehicle acquired by the Indian army. It was developed by India's Research and Development Establishment (Engineers) (R&DE(E)), part of the Defense Research and Development Organization.

The robot is designed for explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) missions and counterterrorism operations. Proponents endorsed its potential in dealing with India's Maoist insurgency as well as with Pakistani militants in the northeast.
