Vodnik high-mobility multipurpose vehicle

The GAZ-3937 Vodnik (Russian expression for "water guy") is a multipurpose amphibious 4 x 4 platform modularly constructed, with limited armor protection for cab and crew or cargo.

The Voknik is comprised of two detachable modules. The front module includes the Gaz-5424 turbocharged air-cooled multi-fuel diesel engine. This section is also where the driver and passenger are situated. Passengers, cargo or other payloads are located in the rear detachable module.
