The Maatla 4 x 4 light protected vehicle (LPV) is a multipurpose platform designed by the Paramount Group in South Africa. Maatla translates to "Power" in Setswana, one of South Africa's official languages.
The Maatla is manufactured on a commercial vehicle chassis and features “Smart Floor” technology, enabling the seating to be quickly removed to configure the vehicle for ambulance, command, border patrol, military support, policing or peacekeeping missions.
