The M37B1 is a 4 x 4 Dodge 3/4 ton truck used for troop transport and a variety of other roles.
The truck has two side doors, a canvas top, fold-down windshield and a spare tire carried on the left door (on some vehicles).
Initial operational capability (IOC) was attained in 1950. More than 136,000 were manufactured by Dodge Motor, Detroit, Mich., from 1950 to 1970 to replace the World War II T214 vehicle.
