The Leguan armored vehicle-launched bridge (AVLB) is capable of putting down a 85 ft (26 m) bridge designed for 70 class loads (MLC 70). Launch and recovery of the bridge is fully automatic and requires less than 5 minutes. The procedure can be performed by remote control. If the job is not carried out remotely, one man, enclosed in the vehicle, is sufficient to perform the task.
