The AT-L (artilleriyskiy tyagach lyogkiy, Russian for light artillery tractor) was a fully tracked, light tractor initially developed for towing artillery pieces.
It has since been replaced in that role. Before replacement, it still served as an electronic support vehicle. The AT-LM was a later variant with a different suspension.
No longer in service.
Initial operational capability (IOC) was reached in 1953. The IOC for the AT-LM was in 1956.
