The Armored Amphibious Assault Bridge (AAAB), sometimes identified as the Samur (Turkish for sable), is a Turkish-developed bridging system based on the FNSS Pars (Leopard) 8 x 8 armored vehicle.
The platform utilizes the main automotive components of the Pars. The AAAB/Samur is a military bridging and ferrying system that is designed to carry tanks and other vehicles across water obstacles. The design resembles the German M3 amphibious rig.
