The Weapons-Mounted Installation Kit (WMIK) is a variant of the popular Land Rover 110 vehicle designed for combat patrol operations. In British service it is used primarily for force protection missions.
The vehicle is flat-bottomed; the crew rides over the axles, where pressure mines tend to detonate. It has little armor on the sides, no doors and no roof. Its weapons also lack gun shields.
