The Shorland is a British light armored car used primarily for internal security missions.
It was originally developed by Short Brothers and Harland (of Belfast, Northern Ireland) for the Royal Ulster Constabulary, which later turned its vehicles over to the Ulster Defense Regiment. The Shorland has since been exported to other countries, primarily as an internal security vehicle operated by police or border patrol forces.
