The DN-XI armored tactical vehicle was designed by the General Directorate of Military Industry (DGIM) of Mexico's National Defense Secretariat (Sedena) for the Mexican armed forces.
The 4 x 4 light armored vehicle is based on the SandCat made by Oshkosh Defense. Both vehicles use the chassis of the Ford F-550 Heavy Duty. The DN-XI differs from the SandCat with an extended chassis and Mexican-designed turret.
