The Czech OT-810 armored personnel carrier (APC) was one of the last half-tracked APC vehicles still in service in any army (the U.S.-built M3, subject of a separate database entry, is another example).
The OT-810 was based on the German Sd Kfz 251 half-track built by Skoda in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia, during World War II. After continuing production of the existing model for a while, Skoda replaced the original gasoline engine with a Tatra diesel and added overhead armored hatches...
