The 4K 4FA armored personnel carrier (APC) is made of all-welded steel armor that is immune to 20-mm armor-piercing rounds in its frontal arc.
The engine is to the right front. The driver is on the left of the engine with a two-piece hatch cover and three periscopes. The gunner sits behind with a 360-degree cupola. Most vehicles have a ballistic shield to give some protection to the gunner.
