The Al Fahd is the first Saudi-designed and -built armored vehicle, and was produced for the Saudi Arabian national guard. The 8 x 8 wheeled armored vehicle is available in reconnaissance and armored personnel carrier (APC) versions.
With accommodations for a crew of four, the Al Fahd reconnaissance version comes equipped with a turret capable of holding low-recoil weapons of up to 105 mm. The 12-cylinder, 550-hp Deutz air-cooled diesel engine is placed in the rear of the vehicle....
