Hipopotam 8 x 8 amphibious vehicle

The Hipopotam (Hippopotamus) is an 8 x 8 heavy amphibious wheeled armored personnel carrier proposed for the Polish armed forces. It is intended to handle specific service requirements not met by current vehicles and is not intended for regular use as a front-line armored personnel carrier. It can also be used in a civilian role to respond to natural disasters. The Hipopotam will be a much larger platform than other Polish vehicles, such as the Rosomak.
