Based on a modified T-54 tank chassis, the ZSU-57-2 (Zenitnaya Samochodnaya Ustanovka 57-2) is an older, tracked air defense vehicle with two 57-mm anti-aircraft guns.
The chassis has four evenly spaced road wheels on each side as opposed to the T-54's five, and the armor is thinner. The thin armor and open top make the gun vulnerable to ground and artillery fire.
