AMX-30 SA anti-aircraft gun system

The AMX-30 SA self-propelled anti-aircraft gun system was an improved version of France's AMX-30 DCA. The twin 30-mm cannons were mounted on an AMX-30 main battle tank (MBT) chassis, supplied by Giat Industries.

The turret, called the TG 230A, was based on the SAMM S401A, which was fitted on the original AMX-30 MBT and AMX-13 DCA. Equipped with 30-mm HS 831A cannons, the gun could store 300 rounds of ammunition in the ready racks. Types of 30-mm ammunition included...
