The ZU-23 is a twin-barrel towed, anti-aircraft (AA) gun system assigned to Russian airborne divisions. It is also in widespread use in other countries. Single-barreled ZU-23s are known to exist.
The standard system consists of two 2A14 guns, a light carriage mount on a two-wheel chassis, ZAP-23 automatic anti-aircraft sight and an additional sight for ground targets.
