The FH77 155-mm howitzer has two versions: the FH77A, which was the Swedish army's domestic variant, and the FH77B, an export variant (commonly referred to as the FH77). The FH77B differs primarily in using NATO ammunition with bag charges, being fitted with a double-baffle 'pepper pot' muzzle brake, having a greater range and a complete hydraulic system that controls the drive wheels, trails and ammunition ramming.
