The long-barrel, Finnish-built M-60 122-mm towed field gun was a weapon of austere appearance, having no shield and a simple mounting. The gun was fitted with a recoil cylinder above the barrel and a recuperator below; the pneumatic equilibrators flanked the barrel. The gun was also fitted with a single-baffle muzzle brake.
